What does the BBTA do for Beccles?

The BBTA is a group of Beccles business owners and interested individuals who strive to keep Beccles great and encourage visitors to use our local businesses and facilities. We have been responsible for attracting funding into Beccles in partnership with the Beccles Town Council and East Suffolk Council.

We help fund signage, tourist guides and advertising for the town as well as the Christmas Lights and the organisation of the Late Night Switch on event. We also support the Beccles Food Festival and other events that bring visitors to the town. We organise meetings and social events that help bring local businesses together and actively support local projects such as The Beccles Lido, The Public Hall and Beccles Station Community Rooms.

Working with the Beccles Town Council we raise important issues within the town that effect the local economy, it’s visitors and the whole community. We support local businesses with training courses, networking and tourism projects.

We are also in the process of updating this site where all BBTA members get a free listing!
