The Beccles Lido is a traditional 30 metre, outdoor, heated swimming pool that is scenically situated next to the River Waveney. There is also a heated splash pool, plus a toddler pool and the site has a wide range of facilities including pool-side terraces.

Summer timetables include both lane swimming and family fun / inflatable aquarun sessions.

Lido History

Facilities include:

Main pool (30m x 15m) – 3.7m deep end, springboard, slide
Toddler pool – 0.75m deep
Splash pool (adjacent to toddler pool) – 0.27m deep
Changing facilities
Children’s adventure play area
Family picnic area
All-weather exercise equipment
Café serving hot /cold food (summer) and drinks, snacks, ice creams (year-round)
Fully accessible – hoist-assisted entry to the water – accessible changing facility.

All pools are heated to 28°C (in summer season).
