Beccles Quay

Beccles Quay and Riverside

Today, Beccles Quay is devoted to leisure – the easy access to the River Waveney and nearby marsh trails makes Beccles Quay ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.

Enjoy the beautiful setting,  breathe-in spaces and places to wander and watch the water-born world go by.

There are plenty of things to do from The Quay – why not take to the water, hire a canoe or dayboat, or enjoying a gentle ferry ride up-river. If you like to walk, you can explore the unspoilt marshland countryside edging the water front as all Beccles Marsh Trail walks begin from the footbridge of the Quay.

Calling all skippers!

Overnight and daytime moorings for visiting craft are available at Beccles Quay / Yacht Station. The Quay has a range of facilities available and is only a short walk from town centre shops, places to eat, services and public transport hubs. Moorings can now be booked online.
